Arlington County

The median household income of Fairfax County is one of the highest in the nation and over half of its adult residents have college Bachelor degrees or graduate degrees. Fairfax County also is home to an extensive commercial office market and is a major employment center.

Fairfax County has the largest number of jobs (524,000) and the largest labor force (562,000) in the Washington area, with a low unemployment rate of 1.9%. The county also has a high median household income of $85,300.

City of Falls Church
Falls Church is an independent city lying just a few miles from the national capital. This proximity has been a major influence on its development, especially over the last century. Falls Church is small in area (now 2.2 square miles) and population (10,377 in 2000), but its heritage predates America's colonial era.

Pentagon City
